Michelle's Senior Pictures

This photo shoot was so much fun. Michelle is a wonderful student and athlete with an awesome personality to add to her beauty. She's the real deal, folks!

Her smile lights up the camera.

This is one of the reasons I love Hummel Park in Plainfield. I think this water feature photographs so well.
You can tell just how much fun we were having in this picture.

Love this pose!
This is at the gym in Michelle's high school. She wanted some pictures on the bleachers, and although dealing with gym lighting is not the best, I do like the way this picture turned out.

Story behind this picture: I wanted an "action shot" and Michelle delivered big time. She still looks cute tossing a ball up in the air, and because she is so talented she even caught it! Now it was about 85* the day of this photo shoot, but as Michelle said, "sometimes you have to make sacrifices to look cute." Thus the jacket, scarf, and hat. It all paid off as this is one of my favorite pictures.

I LOVE this. I had an idea, and I prefaced the pose by telling Michelle it would either work and look amazing or it would fail, epically. Turns out this is my FAVORITE picture of the bunch, and it's Michelle's too. In the world of senior pictures, the poses too often become stagnant and identical. So here is a refreshingly different idea... and remember, you saw it here first!

Looking to the future! :)

Good luck this year, Michelle. I know that you will be great at whatever you choose to do in the future. Thanks for letting me capture these special moments. I had fun!

Baby Kali

This was my first baby shoot! Baby Kali is absolutely precious, and was so good natured that it made taking these pictures so much fun. Of course, with a baby as cute as this, it's super easy to get good photographs.

Love the headband.
Isn't she sweet?

Baby feet are my favorite.

Beautiful!

This egg basket is about 100 years old and was used by Kali's great-great grandmother.
How special is this picture?

First family portrait.

I love this picture. I think it captures pure love.

Thanks Jon & Sarah for letting me capture these special moments for you. I hope you treasure these pictures forever.

Here we go!

Well folks. Here it is... Officially. My photography blog. I'm SO excited. I'll be posting pictures from some of my most recent photo shoots soon. For now, I just want you all to know I'm ready to take appointments for Fall photo shoots and Senior Pictures.
